A Devotional Poem – Crepusculum

A Devotional Poem – Crepusculum

Mr Race MoChridhe
I also wrote this poem for today to celebrate the bounty of Our Mother’s grace!

Raindrops And Sun Two by atLevel1Alt

An arc of light through cloud
to cull my breath
and sheaf it for the harvest,

to call my spirit to supernal sun
beyond the sheets of rain–
a self-emptying,

like lightning into oak, like foam
into the wine-dark sea, like seeds
adrift on summer’s bygone wind.

My Mother’s scythe–
a staff exscribing circles–
a wind upon the grass,

like the flutter of my breath
against the water
where the sun has set.
